3 keys to making good decisions by Pilar Ortiz
Ignoring what decision to make or what path to choose is one of the challenges for people like you who want to achieve success.
And although we have all been there, in the bottle of confusion and lack of clarity, where you are not going to find answers or reach the goal on time.
That's why today I want to share with you three keys to finding the clarity that seems to be lost and start making decisions aligned with the dreams and goals you have set personally and professionally.
I want to clarify that these tools are more effective when you use them with the accompaniment of a coach, who listens to you and asks the right questions.
1. Define what you want: Most of my clients, with whom I have worked on this topic, arrive with ambiguous ideas of what they would like, for example, a new job or a career change.
However, when we explore the possibilities and go into depth, I have found that this idea does not fill them completely, and through questions, we discover that what they want is something different, such as a growth opportunity within their company or recognition, rather than a new job.
So, it is important to define what your needs really are.
2. Identify what you don't want: At the same time, it is critical to know what your expectations are not. For example, if your desire is a change of job, define what you are not willing to do. This will allow you to have the clarity to evaluate the appropriateness of an offer.
In this case, you probably don't want to move to another city for a job, have an office schedule, or work remotely.
If you have this clear, I assure you that the searching and decision-making will be easier because you will have more elements to decide on.
3. Is it aligned with your life project?: Ask yourself this question whenever you are about to make a decision or are looking for clarity.
If the answer does not bring you closer to what you have outlined as your life project, it is not that way. For example, if you plan to have a flexible lifestyle and you receive a proposal for a project where you must be on call 24/7, you will have an answer... It is not in line with what you have planned.
Start using these three keys to be accurate with what you manifest and make decisions that are according to your purpose and life project.
