Three habits to achieve your dreams by Pilar Ortiz
Dreams are built with daily decisions, decisions that become habits and bring us faster and easier to what we want.
Today I want to share with you three habits that have worked successfully for me and that I implement in my routine, and which I also teach to my PAC students, a global community of Hispanic women where we work on mindset and communication.
1. Don't minimize yourself: How many times have you walked into a meeting feeling insignificant and trying to hide? Or have you raised your hand shyly and insecurely to participate?
I don't know what your answer is, but if you thought, "at least one," this is for you.
Try to remember every day: Your ideas, your experience, your creativity are invaluable. Make the decision and take the daily action to leave your room with the confidence that they are.
2. Speak to yourself nicely: If your internal conversations are negative and you are speaking rudely to yourself, I assure you that you are sabotaging your success.
Speak to yourself as you would speak to a friend, with kindness and gentleness. You are your best company and support, but if you only have words like: "I'm so stupid" or "I can't handle anything," you will fill your mind with toxic information that will hold you back every time you try to move forward.
3. Be grateful for the present moment: Gratitude is a key that opens many doors. When you are grateful your brain is filled with the hormone of happiness, giving well-being to your body and soul.
Being grateful in the present means seeing each stage of the process as a blessing. See each "failure" as a lesson that makes you grow and takes you to a higher level.
I guarantee you that by doing it daily you will feel happier and motivated to continue.
Success is built with habits that bring out the best version of you and expand your capabilities.
